Open Ice at USC

"Open Ice" refers to ice time that is available to USC, generally before and after school and during the school lunch hours.  Skaters are welcome to come and practice during open ice time, with or without their coach(es).  Additional fees apply.

The cost of open ice time is $4/hour plus any additional costs for private coaching.   Ice time is billed by the club directly to the skater.  Coaching fees are billed directly by the coach(es).

Skaters wishing to practice during open ice must contact their coach and make the appropriate arrangements.

For 2011/12, Open Ice is scheduled as follows:

Mondays - no ice

Tuesdays - 8 - 9 am

Wednesdays - 8 - 9 am, 11:30 - 1 pm, 3 - 4pm

Thursdays - 8 - 9 am, 11:30 - 1 pm, 3 - 4pm

Fridays - 8 - 9 am and 3 - 4 pm

Please note:  Open Ice usually runs, but it is subject to cancellation or change.
