SYNCHRO SKATE & CAN POWER SKATE AT USC
By usc
SYNCHRO SKATE:
Did you know that USC has four competitive Synchronized Skating teams? They are called Sparkling Ice and Momentum. Tyrouts for these teams happen each spring at USC. Many of our current Sparkling Ice and Momentum skaters got their start in SynchroSkate.
SynchroSkate combines skill and dance elements in a fun, group environment. Come learn the fundamentals of synchronized skating, a possible future Olympic sport, at USC!
Where and when? Synchro Skate is offered at Angus Glen arena on Tuesdays at 4-5pm.
Who? Candidates must be working on Stage 5 or higher and be registered in at least one other USC session.
Synchro Skate has a limited number of openings left, due to the nature of the class. Come learn the basics, build confidence, be part of a group and most of all, have FUN!
CAN POWER SKATE AT USC:
Power Skating is starting up next Wednesday, October 15. This class runs from 7-8am on Wednesdays at Crosby Arena.
Candidates for this class must have full hockey equipment and have basic skating skills. This is not a learn to skate program.
Want to refine your skating skills? Pick up a bit of speed and technique? This is the class for you! With a low instructor to student ratio (1:8) and lots of space to work in, the opportunity for improvement and gaining confidence on the ice is there. Come develop foundation and skills in this class!
You can sign up for Power Skating online on the USC website, at www.unionvilleskatingclub.com
