NEW IN 2009/2010
UNIONVILLE SKATING CLUB PRESENTED TWO SYNCRONIZED SKATING TEAMS

For the 2009/2010 season, Sparkling Ice Synchronized Skating fielded two teams. Skating out of Unionville Skating Club, the teams included an Elementary squad comprising girls from age 7 to 12 years old and a Juvenile squad comprising girls from age 7 to 15. The presentation of two teams this year further strengthened the synchronized skating depth within our skating club.

The season was a great success with the Elementary team taking a bronze medal at March Mania in Innisfil, while the Juvenile team won 2 silver medals and 2 bronze medals during their season, including a bronze at the Ontario Regional Championships in Fort Erie. The Unionville Skating Club is proud of Sparkling Ice and we hope that next year the girls will emulate previous achievements.
