November News:
Registration days for Ice Fantasia 2019 are here! Dates are listed below, but before you scroll down too fast, please take the time to read through all the really useful information which will provide you with an idea of practice days, fees and so on. There’s a lot to take in, and since all registration fees are non-refundable please read carefully….
All PreCanSkate, Canskate and Into Star skaters must be registered in a minimum one day session membership with USC. All Junior Star, Senior Star and Advanced Star skaters must be registered in at least a two day membership to participate but may be limited to the number of courts they will participate in. Advanced Triple and Quad Gold skaters must be registered in a minimum one day membership.
Ice Show Practices will start on Monday March 18th, 2019 thru to April 6th, 2019.
Continuity practices will start on April 8th, 2019 thru to April 11th (schedules will be handed out closer to the show).
Dress rehearsals will be held on April 11th, 2019 followed by the 4 shows.
PreCanSkate – All PreCanSkaters will practice once per week and will be skating in the first half of the show. Practice days are currently scheduled for Saturdays.
CanSkate – All Canskaters will practice twice per week and will be in the first half of the show. Tentative practice days will be two of the following: Wednesday, Friday, Saturday.
Intro Star – All Intro StarSkaters will practice twice per week and will be in the second half of the show in two courts, and will be included in the finale. Tentative practice days will be Monday, Wednesday and/or Thursday.
Junior Star – All Junior StarSkaters will practice twice per week for each court they are participating in. All courts will be in the second half of the show and will be included in the finale. Tentative practice days will be two of the following: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday.
Senior Star – All Senior StarSkaters will practice twice per week for each court they are participating in. All courts will be in the second half of the show and will be included in the finale. Tentative practice days will be two of the following for each court: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday.
Advanced Star – All Advanced StarSkaters will practice twice a week for each court they are participating in. All skaters will be included in the Opening number as well as the Finale. Tentative practice days will be two of the following for each court: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday Saturday.
FEE SCHEDULE:
Pre-Canskate – 1 Court $140.00
Canskate – 1 Court $170.00
Intro Star – 2 Courts + finale $200.00
Junior Star – 2 Courts + Closing + finale $255.00
Senior Star – 2 Courts + Closing + finale $275.00
Advanced Star – 2 Courts + Closing + finale $299.00
*Features – An additional fee of $75.00 will be charged
Ice Fantasia fees include practice ice starting March 18th, coaches’ choreography, costume rental for each court, tights (girls) and each skater will receive one souvenir program.

And finally…..HERE ARE YOUR ICE SHOW REGISTRATION DATES:
Registration for ALL STARSKATE skaters open on Friday November 9th at 9am. There are only 40 spots for each Intro Star, Junior Star, Senior Star, and Advanced Star.
Registration for PRESCHOOL and CANSKATE skaters will open on Monday November 26th. There are 275 spots available for PreCanSkate through to CanSkate.
Feature Skaters: There will be 3 Feature numbers in Ice Fantasia 2019. One number will feature our Quad Gold Skaters, another our Triple Gold Skaters, and lastly, our final feature will highlight 2 skaters at each level of Intro Star, Junior Star, Senior Star, and Advanced Star. This last number will be a relay, and the skaters will be chosen by audition only. Please be reminded that an additional fee of $75.00 will apply for all featured skaters.
PLEASE NOTE: Due to the very tight schedule of only 4 weeks, skaters are not permitted to miss more than 3 practices to be in the 2019 production of Ice Fantasia.
